The
pile drives directly and without a pilot hole by hammering
individual 1 meter long units into the ground until the predetermined
or required load is achieved. A test in tension is carried
out on each pile assembly to verify the actual load carrying
capacity.
If the required figure is not achieved further pile units are hammered into the
ground and the control test repeated.
Each of the 1 meter pile sections has a connecting stud made of anodised high
tensile aluminium. Therefore, any length of pile is possible depending upon local
conditions.
